Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.
Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will take place on Wednesday in Glengoole Church from 10.00 to 8.00 and in Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.
Cemetery Mass
Ballinalacken Cemetery Mass will be on Friday 21st August at 7.00.
Mass at Ballynonty Memorial Garden will be on Tuesday 25th August at 7.00.
Eucharistic Congress in Knock
National Eucharistic Congress in Knock will be held on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September. These are special days of celebration in honour of the Eucharist. Consider being present for both or one day.
Financial Help
There will be limited Financial help available for students wishing to pursue Third level Courses in the coming academic year. Please contact 087 1482056 for further information and Application Forms. Proof of Registration from College will be necessary and Accommodation Costs should also be included.
Leaving Certificate results
Congratulations to all who received their Leaving Certificate results this week. We wish them every success and God’s blessings into the future.
Lotto Results
There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 7, 8, 24 & 26. Lucky Dip winners were Shane Corbett, Mellison, Anne Walsh, Templemore, Dan O’Connell, Glengoole, Cait Power, Two-Mile-Borris, Sellers Prize was Marion Campion, Crab.. Next Draw will be on 20th August at Dollys, Glengoole. Jackpot €20,000. Reserve Lotto is €7,600.
Parish Annual time again
This year we will be having a special chapter on the 60s. If you have any special memories of the 60s, we would love if you would share them with us.
