Feast of the Assumption
Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, a holyday of obligation, is on Saturday next. Masses in Glengoole is on Friday at 6.30 and Saturday at 10.00. Masses in Gortnahoe on Friday at 7.45 and Saturday at 11.15.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will take place on Wednesday in Glengoole Church from 10.00 to 8.00 and in Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

Cemetery Masses
Boulick Cemetery Mass will be on Thursday next 13th August at 7.00.
Ballinalacken Cemetery Mass will be on Friday 21st August at 7.00.

Garden Fete at Kilcooley
The Garden Fete at Kilcooley Church will be held on this Sunday 9th August from 2.00. Free admission. Everyone most welcome.

Financial Help
There will be limited Financial help available for students wishing to pursue Third level Courses in the coming academic year. Please contact 087 1482056 for further information and Application Forms. Proof of Registration from College will be necessary and Accommodation Costs should also be included.

Youths FC AGM
Gortnahoe Youths FC: AGM will be held this Monday night 10th August in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.30. Please show your support of the Club by attending.

Ballynonty Festival next weekend
Ballynonty Festival takes place on Saturday August 15th and includes 5km Walk, Sale of Work, Grooviest Granny Competition. Music, set dancing and craic. Musicians welcome. Walk at 6.00. Registration €10 from 5.00. Refreshments later.

Lotto Results
There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 14, 18, 26 & 28. Lucky Dip winners were Robert Coelbeck, Tullaroan, Eileen Guilfoyle, Urard, Shane & Roisin Phelan, Graigaman. Masry Burke, Urard, . Sellers Prize was Anne Barnaville, Gortnahoe. Next Draw will be on 13th August at Dollys, Glengoole. Jackpot €20,000. Reserve Lotto is €7,400.

Glengoole Tidy Towns
Work continuing each Monday night at 7.00, meeting at the Cross. Bring gloves, tools & Hi Vis. Jackets. All welcome.

Ballysloe Tidy Towns
