Annual Priests Retreat in Knock
Priests Annual Retreat takes place this week from Sunday to Thursday in Knock. For any urgent calls contact can be made with Fr. Daniel O’Gorman, Moyglass, 086 2402482, Canon Dunphy, Urlingford 087 2300489 or Thurles Parish at 0504 22229 or 0504 22505 or sometimes on our mobiles.

Glengoole: Friday at 9.30
Gortnahoe: Friday at 9.30.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will be on Wednesdays in Glengoole 10.00 to 8.00 and on Thursdays in Gortnahoe 10.00 to 7.00. Come for a time for prayer.

Cemetery Meeting
Good Shepherd Cemetery Meeting to organise for the coming year takes place at Prouts on Thursday 15th January at 7.30. All interested come along.

Fitness and Weight Management Classes
Routine Fitness and Weight Management Classes take place in Glengoole Hall at 7.30, Tuesdays: Boot Camp and Thursdays: Kettle Bells. Fun exciting classes for all ages and abilities. Beginners always welcome. Classes €7, pay as you go, discounts available. Contact Nicole 086 3249226 or Facebook.

Ballyboys St. Stephens Day Vehicle Run
Thanks for all your support including our sponsors and organisers and helpers, to Seamus Dunne for the music and party at Hogans that night and all others. A total of €3,500.00 was raised and donated to four chosen charities, Childline, Gortnahoe-Glengoole Vincent de Paul, Gortnahoe Senior Citizens and Home to Hurl Fund.

Mary Willies Golf Society

Men’s Shed
Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole is planning to host a Men’s Shed in Glengoole. The aim of the Men’s Shed initiative is to provide a friendly and inclusive environment where men can gather to catch up with old friends and/or work together on meaningful projects at their own pace and in their own time. Thanks for your support
Scoil Aonghusa and the parents of the children who attend the school wish to thank everyone who helped out with the organising of the ‘Home2hurl’ fundraiser on St. Stephens Day and also to all the players who travelled long distances to be involved in the event. It was a huge success raising welcome funds for the school and also a most enjoyable day
