Collection for the Parish Sacristans
Annual Collection for the Parish Sacristans will be taken up next weekend, 24th & 25th January Envelopes for this Collection are in the box of envelopes. Please give generously in recognition of the wonderful care and attention to all that goes on in our churches and their care of our churches.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is this week. The Annual Ecumenical Service will be held in Gortnahoe Church on Sunday next 25th Jan. at 7.00. A warm welcome to everyone to come and join in the Service.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will be on Wednesdays in Glengoole 10.00 to 8.00 and on Thursdays in Gortnahoe 10.00 to 7.00. Come for a time for prayer.

Team Meeting and 400 Club Draw
Parish Team Meeting and the monthly 400 Club Draw takes place in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night next 19th Jan. at 8.00. A warm welcome to everyone to come along to appreciate the draw and hope for a win.

Family Mass Meeting
Family Mass Meeting preparing for the February Mass will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night at 7.30. As this will probably be the last family Mass before Confirmation let us make it a special prayerful occasion.

Faith and Formation Meeting
Faith and Formation Meeting on Tuesday night at 8.00. This is a year when we welcome Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly to our diocese and a time also to develop our faith through taking time together and focusing on aspects of our faith and our practice.

Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly
Installation of Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly takes place on Sunday afternoon 8th February in the Cathedral, Thurles. Each parish in the Archdiocese will be represented and more information will be published later.

Irish Wheelchair Association
Sincerest thanks from The Irish Wheelchair Association for your generosity last week-end. €600.60 was contributed.

Hair Challenge Fund Raiser
Ballyboys Hair Challenge Fund Raiser in November was a great success. A total of €4,400 was raised and went to Milford Hospice and North Tipperary Hospice. Sincerest thanks to all for their great generosity.

Mary Willies Golf Society
Invitation to current and new members to our AGM on Saturday 24th at Mary Willies at 9.00. All welcome.

Lotto Results
There was no winner of the €19,800 Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 5, 20, 26 & 30. Bereavement Group Meeting
Anam Cara Parental and Sibling Bereavement Group monthly Parent Meeting will be on Monday 26th January in the Horse and Jockey Hotel from 7.30 to 9.00. Anam Cara Services are available free of charge for all bereaved parents and families.

Ballysloe School Clothes Collection
A very warm welcome to all bags of clothes to support work on the school and support of school activities at this time. Please leave the bags at the school. Closing Date is Monday 19th Jan.
