Annual Collection
The Annual Collection for the decoration of our Church sanctuaries is being taken up this weekend, December 27th & 28th. Let your generous support show appreciation of beautiful decoration in each church each week.

Collection Envelopes for 2015
Distribution of the Collection Envelopes for 2015 takes place in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night next 29th December at 8.00. We invite all the usual distributers to come along to collect their supply. We are most grateful to all who have been so kind as to be involved in this work each year and who recently made the launching of the 400 Club such a wonderful success. A special invitation also to anyone else who is willing to help make the workload easier for others. Come along on Monday night.

First Thursday
There will be no Latin Mass on Thursday. It will be on Thursday 8th January at 7.00.

First Friday
Glengoole: Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

Priests Christmas Collection

Eucharistic Adoration
No Eucharistic Adoration in either Church this week.

New Year Greetings
Sincerest wishes for all God’s blessings for all parishioners and visitors as we begin our New Year. May Jesus come to you all and bring his special gifts and support during 2015.

Family Mass
The Family Mass for January will be on Sunday next 4th January, in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. It will be the Second Sunday of Christmas and we are invited to ponder the wonder of “The Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us”.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €19,200 Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 4, 12, 13 & 23. Lucky Dip winners were Alex Bartley, Graigue, Michael Hayes, Leigh, Two Mile Borris, Paddy Butler, Ballynonty, Shain Smith, Lisduff. €25.00 Sellers Prize was John Norton. Next Draw will be on Friday 2nd January at Hogans, Grange for Jackpot of €19.400.

Appreciating our Parish Community during the past year and into the future
Looking back should make us so proud of all that has happened, especially during the past few days. All over our country and all over the world the inspiration that led to the launching of Home to Hurl, the promotion of all that it involved, the willingness of so many who came home with a sense of joy and enthusiasm, the undertaking of so much work and planning, the kindness of the Lord in giving us a day that was not too bad, the broadening of the programme on the day, the gathering of such a wonderful crowd and the genuine sport and effort from the players, the generosity of all to the chosen charities and of course the success also of the Tractor and Car Run from Ballysloe made all such a special day and this was only one day.
