Christmas Masses
The Christmas Masses in Glengoole will be on Wednesday at 6.30 and on Christmas Day at 10.00, and in Gortnahoe on Wednesday at 7.45 and on Christmas Day at 11.15.

Gortnahoe: Monday & Friday at 9.30.

Clergy Annual Christmas Collection
Clergy Annual Christmas Collection will be taken up this week-end 20th & 21st December. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Holy Communion to the sick and housebound
Christmas Holy Communion to the sick and housebound will take place at the usual times on Monday morning. As well as the usual people visited we will gladly bring Holy Communion to any others unable to be out for Christmas. Please let the priests know.

Inchorourke Area Mass is on this Monday, 22nd at Phelans.

Parish Confessions for Christmas
Special Confessions on Tuesday in Glengoole from 6.30 until after 7.00 Mass and in Gortnahoe from 7.30 until after 8.00 Mass. On Wednesday in Glengoole at 12.00 and in Gortnahoe at 12.30.

Eucharistic Adoration
Because of Christmas, no Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Wednesday or Thursday.

Annual Church Collection
The Annual Collection for the decoration of our Church sanctuaries will be taken up next week-end, December 27th & 28th. Let your generous support show your appreciation of beautiful decoration in each church each week.

400 Club Draw
The Gortnahoe – Glengoole Parish 400 Club December Draw had the following winners: 1st Joanne Long, Grange, 2nd Seamus Dunne, Boulick, 3rd Denis & Rosemary Carroll, Fennor, 4th Tom Nolan Graigue, 5th Michael Shortall, Lisduff, 6th Marie Campion,Boulick. Promoter’s Prize, Phil Moloney, Springfield. The January Draw will be in Gortnahoe on Monday 19th January 2015.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €19,000 Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 9, 12, 14 & 22. Lucky Dip winners were Ann Ryan, Glengoole, Pat Williamson, Mullinahone, Jackie Kavanagh, Grange, D. Browne, Fennor,. Christmas Hamper winners were, The Coady children, c/o Biddy Coady, Margaret Coady, Johnstown, Eileen Ryan, Rathbeg, Orla Egan, Bawnreigh. Sellers prize winner was Dollys. Glengoole. Next Draw will be on Tuesday 23rd at Hogans, Ballysloe for €19.200.

Celebrating and supporting our St. Stephens Day events
Our first prayer is a for a lovely fine day, so that we can enjoy the Charity Tractor and Car Drive from Ballysloe, gathering at 10.30. and the huge welcome home for all coming home for Home to Hurl in Gortnahoe at 2.00 in the G.A.A. Field. What a day it will be for so many families, for everyone of the parish and especially for the many charities that will benefit from the generosity of all who gather for such special Christmas occasions.
