October Priests Collection
The October Priests Collection is being taken up this week-end. Your generosity and contributions are essential at this time to meet the demands of the parish. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible..

October Family Mass
October Family Mass is on this Sunday 6th October, in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. Theme is devotion to and praying the Rosary. A meeting to organise the November Family Mass for our dead will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night 7th Oct. at 7.30. A special invitation and request goes to all Family Mass members plus new volunteers.

Juvenile GAA Club
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile GAA Club is holding their annual Church Gate Collection this week-end, Your support is appreciated.

Bingo
Anniversary Bingo will take place in Gortnahoe Hall on 12th October. €2,500 in prize money plus bonus. This is a big night for the parish, so support will be appreciated.

Parish Annual
A final call for material for the Annual, so make sure you have material organised and forwarded early this week. A meeting will be held this Monday night at Fr. O’Rourke’s house at 8.30.

Ballysloe N.S.
Cookery Demonstration in aid of school funds will take place in Gortnahoe Hall on Thursday 17th October at 8.00 p.m. sharp, hosted by Naomi of Naomi’s Cafe Thurles. Tickets are €15.00.

Monster Auction
Monster Auction in St Mary’s Hall Johnstown in aid of Kilcooley Union of Parishes on Sunday 13th October, viewing from 1.00. Auction starts at 3.00. Wonderful value in firewood and household items etc.

Progressive 25 Drive
Progressive 25 Drive in aid of St. Kevin’s National School, Littleton will take place on Wednesday Oct. 9th in Muintir na Tire Hall, Littleton at 8.30. Tickets € 10.00. Prize Fund €1,000. Please support.
