October Priests Collection
The October Priests Collection will be taken up next weekend. Your generosity and contributions are essential at this time to meet the demands of the parish. We ask the usual collectors to kindly attend.
Family Mass
October Family Mass will be on Sunday next 5th October, in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. Theme is devotion to and praying the Rosary. Make sure all families are present with their children’s pictures.
Our Parish Into the Future Course
Sincerest thanks to all who are taking part in the Course in St. Patrick’s College, Thurles. It begins this Wednesday night 2nd October from 7.30 to 9.30. It continues for the five Wednesday nights during October.

Sincerest thanks to all who provided Scrap Metal for the Collection for Glengoole Hall last Saturday. It was a great success, reaching the value of € 1,250.00.
Church Gate Collection
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile G. A. A. Club will hold their annual Church Gate Collection next week-end, Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October at all Masses. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Parish Annual
A final call for material for the Annual, so make sure you have material organised and forwarded early this week. A meeting will be held this Monday night at Fr. O’Rourke’s house at 8.00.
Monster Auction
Monster Auction in St Mary’s Hall Johnstown in aid of Kilcooley Union of Parishes on Sunday 13th October, viewing from 1.00. Auction starts at 3.00. Wonderful value in firewood and household items etc.
G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €6,600 Jackpot last week. The numbers drawn were 3, 10, 16 & 20. Progressive 25 Drive in aid of St. Kevin’s National School, Littleton will take place on Wednesday Oct. 9th in Muintir na Tire Hall, Littleton at 8.30. Tickets € 10.00. Prize Fund €1,000. Please support.
