Died Recently
The death has occurred on March 2, 2018, of Eamonn Fitzgerald, Glasthule, Co. Dublin, late of Glengoole, Co. Tipperary, peacefully, in the wonderful care of all the staff of Glengara Park Nursing Home. Eamonn, beloved husband of Nell, loving father of Shea, Margaret, Ann, Cormac and the late Katherine; Very sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, daughter-in-law, sons-in law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Reposing Monday in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4pm to 7pm. Removal Tuesday to St Joseph’s Church, Glasthule, arriving at 9.50am for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Gortnahoe Prayer Service at 8.30. A warm welcome to this Service of Prayer and Scripture.

Family Mass
March Family Mass will be on Sunday next 4th March. In Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. Theme for the Mass is "Honouring St. Patrick" our Patron Saint.`

Special request for prayer and fasting
Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly's special request for prayer and fasting for peace in the Congo and in South Sudan, two war torn nations. This is in response to Pope Francis' call for a day of prayer and fasting for peace in both countries and in all war-torn nations, which takes place today.

Senior Citizens Group First Meeting of the Year
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Group will hold the first meeting of the New Year on Tuesday next 27th February in Gortnahoe Hall at 2.30. A special welcome to all new members as well as the regular members.
