Trocaire Fight Against Poverty
Once again, this year you are invited to be really generous to the Trocaire Fight Against Poverty. Trocaire Envelopes for all families are available in both churches Make sure you bring one home and have it in a prominent place during Lent Contribute generously between now and Easter.

G.A.A. Club Social on Friday 23rd February
Gortnahoe-Glengoole G.A.A. Club Social will be on Friday 23rd February in The Anner Hotel, Thurles at 7.30. Everyone is welcome. A great night is guaranteed at €30.00 per person. Returned Lay Missionaries and Volunteers
Meeting for Returned Lay Missionaries and Volunteers will take place Wed. 28th February at 8.00 in Archbishop's House, Thurles. Come along.

Recruiting for the Parish St. Vincent de Paul Society
We are busy recruiting new members. Would you be interested in becoming a member? As with many voluntary jobs, members often say that they get more out of the Society than they put into it, through the friends they make and the relationships they build up with people they visit. There is also satisfaction from knowing you are trying to make a difference in a practical way. If you would like an opportunity, why not talk to any member of our St. Vincent de Paul Society or ring 087 1482056.

Bingo in Gortnahoe
Weekly Bingo takes place each week in Gortnahoe Hall. It is on Saturday nights at 8.30. Wonderful prizes are there to be won each week.

There was no winner of the Jackpot of €15,200. Numbers drawn were 13, 14, 16 & 26. Lucky Dip winners Brian Maher, Littlefield, Joan O'Meara Fethard, Maria Kenny, Glengoole, Willie Dunne, Graigue. Seller's Prize winner was Jimmy Meighan. Next Draw is at Hogans, Ballysloe, on Thursday 22nd February for a Jackpot of €15,400.
