Priests Collection
July Priests Collection will be taken up this weekend, Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd July at all Masses. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Year of Mercy Reflection
Our works of mercy can become a work of accompaniment and love. It could be being charitable, visiting the housebound or comforting one who is suffering. Through these visible signs of mercy, we ease the way that is difficult to make alone.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel vigil
Three Hour Vigil in Honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be held in Holy Cross on Saturday 16th July, with Saturday evening Mass and Devotions. Starting at 7.00. Come along.

Evangelium Conference 2016
Third Annual Evangelium Conference 2016 will be held in Maynooth College on July 8th, 9th & 10th. The Theme is explaining the Catholic Faith in the modern world. A special invitation to young adults. To register and find out more visit www.evangelium.ie

Pilgrimage to Knock
Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday August 7, 2016. Our wish is to make it a special Pilgrimage this year. We ask all who are considering the pilgrimage to give their names in time to either of the priests or to Bridie O’Shea, so that all can be properly organised.

Glengoole Cemetery, Tuesday night 19th July at 7.30

‘Walk for Alex’
The Annual Walk for Alex will take place on Thursday 14th July at 7.00. Registration from 6.00 in the Centre. Proceeds to Jack & Jill Foundation and Paediatric Unit South Tipperary General Hospital.

Sponsored Walk
The Annual Walk in aid of the Site beside Gortnahoe Church will take place on Friday 22nd July at Grange Walk at 7.00. Sponsorship Cards are available from Richard Dunne or any member of the Parish Committee.

Ballynonty Sponsored Run
Thank You to all who supported the recent Ballynonty Sponsored Run, jog, walk. Over €2,200 was contributed.

Lotto Results
There was no winner of the Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 8, 12, 18 & 27. Lucky Dip winners were Caroline Cahill, Gortnahoe, George Stokes, Gurteen, Tony Wall, Fennor, Tim Cronin c/o Marion Campion. Seller’s Prize winner was Ann Stokes. Next Draw will be on 7th July at Prouts. Jackpot €20,000. Reserve Jackpot €16,600.

Famine 1848 and 1916 Walk in Ballingarry
Ballingarry Famine 1848 and 1916 Walk will be led this year by the French Ambassor to Ireland, Jean –Pierre Thebault onSaturday 30th July at 3.00, starting at the National Monument in the Commons at 3.00.
