Year of Mercy Reflection ‘House the Homeless’
A home gives a sense of security and identity and a sense of belonging. Action: find out the nearest homeless Centre to you and offer support, e. g. Simon Community.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock
Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday August 7th 2016. Our wish is to make it a special Pilgrimage this year. We ask all who are considering the pilgrimage to give their names in time to either of the priests or to Bridie O’Shea, so that all can be properly organised.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00. Thursday
Gortnahoe from 10.00 to 7.00. Come to spend an hour in adoration.

Cemetery Mass
Glengoole Cemetery, Tuesday, 19th July at 7.30p.m
Fennor Cemetery, Thursday, 28th July at 7.30p.m. Sincere thanks for the help and co-operation in Fennor cemetery on last Tuesday night. A few further jobs need to be done on this Tuesday night.

Parish Development Fund 400 Club Draw
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Development Fund 400 Club Draw for July will be at Grange Village on Friday 22nd at 9.00 after Sponsored Walk.

Sponsored Walk
The Annual Walk in aid of the Site beside Gortnahoe Church will take place on Friday 22nd July at Grange Walk at 7.00. Refreshments at Hogans, Grange Again we have the pleasure of having both Minor and Senior Munster Hurling Cups on display. A member of the Tipperary Panel will launch the Walk on the night. Support from the parish will be appreciated.

Famine 1848 and 1916 Walk
Ballingarry Famine 1848 and 1916 Walk will be led this year by the French Ambassador to Ireland, Jean –Pierre Thebault on Saturday 30th July at 3.00, starting at the National Monument in the Commons at 3.00.

Garden Fete in Kilcooley
Kilcooley Garden Fete will be held on Sunday, 24th July in Kilcooley Churchyard at Kilcooley Abbey at 2p.m. Cake stall, Raffle, Side shows, Plants and produce, Dog Show, Bottle stall and Teas. All welcome.

There was no winner of the Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 10. 11. 15 & 29.
