World Meeting of Families
Pope Francis has chosen Ireland for he 9th World Meeting of Families which will be held in Dublin in August 2018. This will be a really important meeting to promote family life in the world and may be marked by a visit to Ireland of Pope Francis.

Sincerest thanks to you all for your generosity to the Collection last weekend. €705 was contributed in the Collection. Any further contributions are much welcomed by Fr. Irwin or Fr. O’Rourke, on behalf of the Archbishop of Dublin, the organiser.

Education of Priests Collection
The Annual Education of Priests Collection is being taken up at all Masses this weekend, 4th and 5th June. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible,

Family Mass for June
Family Mass for June is be held this Sunday 5th June, in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. Theme is “Raising to New Life”.

Year of Mercy Reflection
Third Corporal work of Mercy, Clothe the naked. All through the years the Church has promoted care for those without proper clothing. We must continue such charity.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole, Wednesday from 10.00 to8.00.
Gortnahoe Thursday 10.00 to 7.00.
Come to spend the hour in adoration.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Community Games
If your child is interested in taking part in the County Community Games in Athletics in Templemore on Sunday 26th June, please forward their details to Carmel Troy, 087 6449674 by 8pm on Wednesday 8th June.

Sponsored Walk at Derryvilla Lake
Glengoole Hall Sponsored Walk will be at Derryvilla Lake on Friday night 10th June at 7.30. Refreshments after Walk. All cards returned with €20 or more sponsorship will be entered in a Draw for two stand tickets for the Tipperary v Limerick match in Thurles on Sunday 19th June. Please support further renovations to the Hall . Sponsorship Cards available from Carmel Troy or in the sacristy.

Dementia Support Group
A memory cafe for early intervention will be held in the Order of Malta training centre, Thurles on Wednesday 8th June, also a support group on 15th June. Further information from Margaret Pollard at 087 6722020.

Closing Down Sale
After over 70 years in business, Kavanagh’s Drapery, Urlingford is closing down on June 24th. Thanks to their loyal customers throughout the years. A Sale, including school uniforms, begins on May 27th.

There was no winner of the Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 17, 28 & 30.
