Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole, Wednesday from 10.00 to8.00. Gortnahoe Thursday 10.00 to 7.00. Come to spend the hour in adoration.
Cycle Challenge
Glengoole United FC Cycle Challenge takes place this Sunday 12th June at 12.00. Registration from 10.00 in Glengoole Hall. Refreshments in the Hall after the event.
Sponsored Walk at Derryvilla Lake
Glengoole Hall Sponsored Walk was held on Friday night at Derryvilla Lake. Sincerest thanks to all who gave great support. €1,050 was collected. Further contributions are most welcome by Tuesday night, when the Draw for the Tipp V Cork tickets will take place.
Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place this week. Please remember the invalids and all pilgrims in your prayers.
Gorta Self Help Africa Fund

Boulick Cemetery
Help is required on Monday 13th June from 7.00. As many as possible is needed to do strimming and general maintenance, in preparation for the Annual Mass. Bring along your strimmer and other tools.
Open Enrolment Day
MFRC, Glengoole Playschool will hold an Open Enrolment Day on Friday 17th June from 1.30 to 3.00. A warm welcome to all.
Parish Juvenile G.A.A.
We welcome Eire Og Juvenile G.A.A. Club from Omagh, Co. Tyrone for Feile ne nGael 2016 which kicks off on Friday 14th in Boherlahan at 4 pm for the U14s. We hope everyone will make the Omagh team, their mentors and families feel very welcome for the week-end.
End of Year School Mass
Ballysloe N. S. Will hold its End of Year School Mass, together with the Raising of the Green Flag and the Presentation of medals on Friday 24th June. The Mass will begin at 11.30. Tea and Cakes will also be served. Everyone is invited to such a wonderful celebration. Please spread the word.
Used Clothing Collection
Ballysloe N. S. will be holding a Used Clothing Collection on 23rd June. Leave all the bags over the wall of the school before the 23rd.
Monthly Parents Evening
Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents are holding its monthly Parent Evening on Monday 20th June from 7.30 to 9.00 in Horse and Jockey Hotel. This service is free and of real value to the bereaved.
