First Communion in Gortnahoe
First Communion for the children of Gortnahoe School will be on Saturday next 14th May in Gortnahoe Church at 11.00 . Please remember them and their families and teachers in your prayers during the coming week.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole, Wednesday from 10.00 to8.00. Gortnahoe Thursday 10.00 to 7.00. Come to spend the hour in adoration.

Remembrance for the Holy Year of Mercy
The pilgrims’ passage through the holy doors of the cathedrals, which are only open during a Jubilee Year, symbolises our journey to Christ, who is the Father’s face of mercy and the sole door through we enter salvation.

St. Vincent de Paul Meeting
There will be a meeting of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ballysloe School on Monday 9th May at 7.30.

Ear Candling appointments
Ear Candling in MFRC, Glengoole will be on Friday 13th May Appointment necessary. Please phone Elaine at 086 3356808. This treatment has many benefits for sickness in ones head or face.

Cycle Challenge
Glengoole United Cycle Challenge will take place on Sunday 12th June. Route to be confirmed. Entry €20.00. Registration and route information from 10.00 in Glengoole Hall.

Thurles Lion’s Club
Classic and Vintage Car Show, Sunday May 8th from noon to 5.00. in St. Patrick’s College, Thurles. Great family fun. All proceeds to Syrian Aid Appeal. Admission,: Adults €5.00. Children Under 12 free.
