Lent - a time for more prayer
Please make Lent a time for more prayer, a time for sacrifices, a time to make sure we celebrate the Mercy of God in this Special Year by going sincerely to confession during Lent and being generous to Trocaire.

Reflection for the Holy Year of Mercy
The Logo for the year represents the words “Merciful like the Father”. It shows the face of Jesus, the face of God’s mercy, risen but still his wounds are showing, carrying humanity on his shoulders. A feature to note is that his eyes are merged with those of humanity. Action: How can we look at others with the eyes of Christ?

Club Development Draw
Parish 400 Club Development Draw for February will take place in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night 15th at 8.00. All are welcome.

Family Mass Meeting
Family Mass Meeting to organise for the March Family Mass will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night 15th at 7.00. New members most welcome.

Adoration
The weekly Adoration will be in Glengoole Church on Wed. from 10,00 to 8.00 and in Gortnahoe ChurchThurs. from 10,00 to 7.00.

Blood Transfusion Service in Thurles
Blood Transfusion Service will be in The Dome, Semple Stadium, Thurles, Monday 15h 2.00 to 5,00, Tuesday 16th , Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th from 5.00 to 8.00 each night. Please note the time change. Doners most welcome on any of the occasions.

Annual Table Quiz for Badminton Club
Grange Badminton Club will hold their Annual Table Quiz on Friday 19th February in Hogans Grange at 9,00.Table of 4 €20.00. Always a great night.

G.A.A. Easter Camp
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile G.A.A. Easter Camp runs this year from 29th to 31st March. Cost per child is €25.00. Participants will each receive a football and a sliotar. To book please contact Maeve at 087986615.

Clothes Collection in aid of Meals on Wheels
A six-week Make Up and Beauty Course on Tuesday mornings 10.00 to 12.00, starting on 1st March. Contact Millennium Centre 052 9157002 for a place.

There was no winner of the Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 13,14, 16 &29. Winners of the Lucky Dip were Sean Fogarty, Gortnahoe, Annette Ryan, Glengoole, Ryans Shop, Gortnahoe, Kevin Slattery, Jun. Sallybog. Sellers Prize went to Wayne Corbett, Mellison.. Next Draw Prouts, Gortnahoe on 18th Feb, Jackpot is €20,000. Reserve is €12,600.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Camogie Club Annual 5k Run will be on Sunday 3rd April at Gortnahoe.

Urlingford Men’s Shed
Urlingford Men’s Shed meets at 10.00 in The Mill FRC to work on various projects. New members always welcome.
