Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30
Gortnahoe: each morning except Thursday at 9.30.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will take place on Wednesday in Glengoole Church from 10.00 to 8.00 and in Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

May Development Draw
Parish Meeting and 400 Club May Development Draw will be in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday 18th May at 8.00. Come and hope for your luck.

June Family Mass Meeting
Family Mass Meeting to prepare for the June Mass will be in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night 18th at 7.30. Come along to make that Mass special.

First Communion in Gortnahoe
First Communion in Gortnahoe Church will be on Saturday next 23rd May at 11.00. Please include the children and their parents and families in your prayers during this week.

Reflecting on Marriage
Irish Catholic Bishops Conference: “We ask the people of Ireland to consider very carefully the profound implications which the constitutional amendment would have on the family environment and on our understanding of parenthood”.

Vigil of Prayer for Marriage
An all-night Vigil of Prayer will take place in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on May 22nd. All are most welcome.

Feast of Pentecost
In the Days approaching the Feast of Pentecost we gather to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as the people of our country discern how to vote in the coming referendums and in particular on the important Institution of Marriage.

Information Night on Monday
Juvenile G.A.A. and Camogie Clubs are holding and Information Night on Monday night at 8.00 in Gortnahoe Hall, regarding child welfare, safety and related issues. It is vital that all coaches and parents attend. Guest speakers will attend.

There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 4, 13, 16 & 24. Lucky Dip winners were Margaret Kennedy c/o Prouts, Pat Barnaville, Gortnahoe, Aisling Burke, Urard, Elaine Burke, Cahir. Sellers Prizewinner was Johnny Collins, Garryclogh. Next Draw 21st May at Hogans, Ballysloe. Jackpot €20,000 Reserve Jackpot €5,000.

Annual Church Gate Collection
The Irish Cancer Society will hold their Annual Church Gate Collections in Gortnahoe and Glengoole on Sat. 23rd and Sun. 24th May. Please contribute.

Senior Citizens Trip to Tipp FM County Music Awards
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Trip to Tipp FM County Music Awards Bus leaves the Hall at 5.45 on Wednesday 20th May. No Club Day on Tuesday 26.th May. Details on Bus Trip in June later.

Anam Cara Parent Evening
Free Anam Cara Parent Evening from 7.30 to 9.00 will be in Horse and Jockey Hotel on Monday 25th May. Free Bereavement Support Information Evening in Milford Care Centre on Tuesday 26th May from 7.00 to 8.00. You are most welcome.
