Remember to put your clocks forward on Sunday night at 1am

Morning Masses
Glengoole: Monday and Wednesday at 9.30
Gortnahoe: Monday and Wednesday at 9.30.

Mass in Ballynonty House
Area Mass in Ballynonty House on Monday, Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

Easter Confessions
Easter Confessions in both Churches after Mass on Monday and Wednesday. On Tuesday in Glengoole before, during and after 7.00 Mass and in Gortnahoe before, during & after 8.00 Mass. A Visiting confessor present.

Sick & Housebound
Holy Communion to the Sick & Housebound will be in both ends of the parish after morning Mass on Wednesday. Please let us know of any extras.

Annual Chrism Mass
Everyone is invited to attend the Annual Chrism Mass at which the Holy Oils are blessed and the ordination of all priests is remembered in Thurles Cathedral on Wednesday night at 7.30. Come along.

Mass of the Lord’s Supper
Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper in both Churches at 8.00. Please bring your Trocaire contributions, in notes rather than coins, if possible. Procession to the Altar of Repose after Mass, followed by Confessions. Come to a Holy Hour in Gortnahoe or Glengoole from 10.00 to 11.00.

Good Friday
Day of Fast and Abstinence. Ceremonies in both Churches at 3.00, including the Passions, Adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion. Stations of the Cross in both churches at 7.30. Collection for the Holy Places will be taken up at both ceremonies. Confessions after ceremonies.

Holy Saturday
Confessions, Glengoole at 12.00 & in Gortnahoe at 12.30.
Vigil Ceremonies and Easter Mass at 9.00 in both Churches. Includes blessing of Fire, Paschal Candle and Easter Water, renewal of our Baptismal Promises and Easter Mass. No Masses at 6.30 or 7.45.

Easter Sunday
Easter Masses: Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15.

Priests Collection
The Easter Clergy Collection will be taken up on Easter week-end. Everyone is asked to contribute generously, remembering that there are only four clergy collections in the year. Envelopes were distributed in January. We ask the usual Collectors to kindly attend
Eucharistic Adoration will not take place on Wednesday or Thursday this week. Please attend the Chrism Mass on Wed. & The Holy Hour on Thurs.

Gortnahoe Folk Choir
Practice on Wednesday at 8.00.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the Jackpot this wee. Numbers drawn were 3, 23, 25 & 26. Lucky Dip winners were A.&P. Long, Urlingford. Terry O’Brien, Mullinahone, Rose Phelan, Graigaman, Paddy Ryan, Pouldine. Next Draw on 3rd April in Mary Willies. Jackpot is €20,000 Reserve Jackpot €3,600.

Senior Citizens Club Day
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Club Day is on Tuesday 31st March at 2pm. Please bring your Eggs for Competition and there will be Flower Display.

Good Friday Bingo
Annual Good Friday Bingo in Gortnahoe Community Hall on 3rd April at 8.30. Over €2,660 in Prize money plus Easter Eggs as spot prizes. Come.

Cake Sale
Gortnahoe Playground & Astro Turf Group are holding a Cake Stall after Mass on Saturday and Sunday 4th & 5th April at the Crossroads in the village. Come and get your Easter treats.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Camogie Club
Remember and be part of Our 5k Fun Run/Walk on Sunday 12th April. Come and enjoy the day.
