Carol Service
Carol Service in Glengoole Church on Sunday 14th December at 7.00. Come along to the beautiful Carol Service to enjoy the Christmas spirit.

Choir Practice
Glengoole Choir Practice will be on Wednesday night at 7.00 in Glengoole Church. We encourage every singer and musician to be sure to come along.

Gortnahoe Sale of Work Sun. 7th Dec.
All roads lead to Gortnahoe this Sunday for the Annual Sale of Work in aid of Gortnahoe Community Association. Win prizes at the Wheel of Fortune, or great value at the stalls, prizes at the Raffle and of course meet Santa there on Sunday all from 1.30.

Confirmation Ceremonies of Light
Confirmation Ceremonies of Light will be in Gortnahoe Church for the families of Gortnahoe School children on Wednesday at 7.30 and in Glengoole Church on Thursday at 7.30 for the families of Glengoole and Ballysloe children. Give your support and prayers for those children and their families as they prepare for such an important sacrament in their lives.

December 400 Club Draw
The Gortnahoe – Glengoole Parish Development Fund 400 Club December Draw will take place in Glengoole Hall at 8.00 on Sunday next 14th December, after the Carol Service. Come and see will you be celebrating a good win.

Parish Annual 2014
The Parish Annual 2014 is proving to be very attractive and admired. Be sure to get your copies and promote it by letting people know what a great read it is for €10.00 and a great present to send to parishioners elsewhere. Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Christmas Party Sunday 14th December.

Annual Christmas Collection
St. Vincent De Paul Society Annual Christmas Collection is this week-end 6th & 7th December. Please continue being as generous as you have been each Christmas to this most worthy Association. Their Hamper/Assistance Programme for Christmas will continue. Application Forms are available in Gortnahoe Post Office and in Millennium Family Resource Centre and in the Churches now. Place completed Application Forms in a sealed envelope in Post Office or MFRC, Glengoole by Dec. 12th. We will help all if possible.

Juvenile G.A.A.
Juvenile AGM is on Thursday 11th December at 8.30 in Gortnahoe. Club Rooms. We ask as many parents as possible to attend. Please attend to see what lies ahead in the coming year and new ideas for the years ahead will be very welcome, Also sincerest thanks to Colin O’Riordan for coming to present the winners medals to the Under16s.on Friday night.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €18,600 Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 21, 24, 28 & 30. Lucky Dip winners were Tom Fogarty, Glengoole, Tom Cleere, The Commons, Mary Lawless, Gortnahoe and Paddy Ryan, Rathbeg. Sellers winner was Jimmy Meighan.
