Morning Masses
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole: Each Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00.
Gortnahoe: Each Thursday 10.00 to 7.00.
Come to spend an hour with Jesus.

Family Mass Meeting
Family Mass Meeting will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Wednesday night at 7.30. During the coming year we will have children receiving First Holy Communion and Confirmation. We extend a special invitation to the parents of children for these sacraments in the parish to come along to this meeting so that a very spiritual and proper preparation will happen during the year.

The Parish Annual

Church Gate Collection
Slieveardagh Rural Development Church Gate Collection will take place in the parish this week-end of 13th & 14th Sept. Due to a lack of funding we need this collection to continue to help projects in the Slieveardagh area. Many projects have been very successful in the past 8 years with the help of our Company. Please donate what you can to help new projects.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €16,200 Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 5, 14, 19 & 26 . Lucky Dip winners were Kitty Corbett, Mellison, Simon Cantwell, Graigue, George Webster, Gortnahoe, John Ryan, c/o Jimmy Meighan. €25 Sellers Prize was Gortnahoe P.O. Next Draw on 18th September at Hogan’s, Grange. Jackpot €16,400.

Juvenile G.A.A.
There was no outright winner of the All Ireland “Guess the Score” competition. So the five people who were within one point receive €50.00 each. They were John Maher, Gortnahoe, Helen McCabe, Kilkenny, Aidan Walsh, Killenaule, Clement Gleeson, Graigue and Helena Loughnane, Clonamicklon. Congratulations to all winners and a huge thank you to all who supported it. In total we raised €2,150.

Camogie Club Collection
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile Camogie Club will hold a Church Gate Collection on 20th & 21st September. Please support.

Millennium Family Resource Centre
A ‘Pathway to Employment’ Course, Fetac Level 4, begins on September 22nd . Course duration 38 weeks, 9.30am to 1.30 each day. Candidates should be the Statutory School Leaving age, and In receipt of a Department Social Protection Payment. Contact Josephine Rafter/Anne Lenihan at (052) 9157992

MFRC will run a Pastry Making Course, baking deserts. Two evenings a week for 12 weeks, commencing 16th Sept. Contact Julie 052 9157992.

MFRC needs Volunteers on a rota basis to help prepare meals for our Meals on Wheels service. Please contact Julie on 052 9157992.
