Day’s Retreat
The Annual Day’s Retreat, organized by the Legion of Mary will be in Glengoole Church this Sunday from 2.00 to 6.00. Come along.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30.
Area Mass in Ballynonty on Monday night. Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

Confessions
Confessions after Mass on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and on Tuesday in Glengoole at 7.00 and in Gortnahoe at 8.00.

Holy Communion for the sick & housebound
Fr. Irwin and Fr. O’Rourke will visit all the usual people with Holy Communion on Wednesday after Mass. They will be glad to bring Holy Communion to anyone else unable to be out for Holy Week and Easter. Please let them know.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will not take place on Spy Wednesday and Holy Thursday. After Easter adoration will continue as usual.

Annual Chrism Mass
Annual Chrism Mass will take place in the Cathedral, Thurles on Wednesday night at 7.30. We encourage a good presence from the parish.

Choir practice
Gortnahoe Folk Choir practice will be at 8.00 this Wednesday night, in preparation for Easter Sunday morning Mass. New members most welcome.

Glengoole Choir Practice will be on Wednesday at 8.00. A special invitation to extra singers, male and female, for these Holy Week and Easter Masses.

Holy Thursday
Mass of the Lord’s Supper in both Churches at 8.00. Please bring your Trocaire contributions, in notes rather than coin, if possible. Procession to Altar of Repose at the end of Mass, followed by Confessions. Come to a Holy Hour in Gortnahoe or Glengoole from 10.00 to 11.00.

Good Friday
Day of Fast and Abstinence. Ceremonies in both Churches at 3.00, including The Passion, Adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion. Stations of the Cross in both Churches at 7.30. A Collection for the Holy Places will be taken up at both ceremonies. Confessions at the end.

Holy Saturday
Confessions in Glengoole at 12.00 and in Gortnahoe 12.30. Vigil Ceremonies and Easter Mass at 9.00 in both Churches. No Mass at 6.30 or 7.45.

Easter Sunday
Easter Masses: Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15.

Priests Collection
The Easter Clergy Collection will be taken up on Easter week-end. Everyone is asked to please contribute generously. Envelopes were distributed in January. We ask the usual collectors to kindly attend.

St. Vincent de Paul
Meeting of St. Vincent de Paul on Monday at 7.30 in Ballysloe School.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the € 17,200 Jackpot this week. The numbers drawn were 14, 16, 25 & 28. Lucky Dip winners were Nicola Purcell, c/o Dollys, Peg Corbett, Urard, Joe O’Brien, Urlingford, Maurice Burke, Urard. € 25 Sellers Prize winner was Michael Cahill, Gortnahoe. Next Draw is 29th March in Hogans, Grange. Jackpot will be €17,400.

Senior Citizens
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Club Day on Tuesday 26th March at 2.30. All are welcome.

Glengoole Drama Group
Thanks to Glengoole Drama Group for their enjoyable performances in aid of Glengoole Hall and Family Resource Centre and to all who attended.

Juvenile G.A.A. Club
