Morning Masses
Glengoole: Each day except Christmas Day at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: Each day except Christmas Day at 9.30.

Christmas Masses
The Christmas Masses on 24th and 25th Dec. will be:
Glengoole Church: Monday at 6.30. Christmas Day at 10.00.
Gortnahoe Church: Monday at 7.45. Christmas Day at 11.15.

Choirs
Our Choirs will sing on Christmas Eve in both Churches. Sincerest thanks to them and the musicians for making our celebrations of Christmas so prayerful and special both at the Carol Service and the Masses.

Christmas Collection
The Christmas Collection for the priests of the Archdiocese, active and retired is being taken up this week-end. We call on your generosity to contribute to this Collection and to pay all arrears. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Eucharistic Adoration Christmas Week
There will be no Eucharistic Adoration in Glengoole Church on St. Stephens Day, 26th Dec. There will be Eucharistic Adoration in Gortnahoe Church, Thursday 27th Dec. 10.00 to 9.00

2012 Parish Annual
Thank you to all who purchased our Parish Annual. We encourage you to purchase timely, before copies start to run out. The books are on sale at the local shops, Post Offices and sacristies. Copies will be specially available in each Church on Christmas Eve & Day after Mass.

Confessions
On Monday, Christmas Eve in Glengoole Church at 12.00 & Gortnahoe Church at 12.30.

GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the Jackpot of €14,600 this week. Numbers drawn were 9, 11, 20 & 30. Lucky Dip winners were Liz Brophy, Patrick’s Gate, Daniel Looby, Urlingford, Martin O’Sullivan, Templemore, Pauline Stokes, The Commons. €25 Sellers Prize winner was Susan Corbett. Next Draw on 28th Dec. in The Hall. Jackpot € 14,800.

Vehicle Run on St Stephens Day
Vehicle Run, Old & New in aid of Cancer Research, The Hope Foundation and Gortnahoe Playground is on St Stephens Day from Ballysloe Village. Registration from 11.00. Entry €15.00 per vehicle. All models, from vintage to 2012 of cars, tractors, trucks, quads, etc welcome. Come along and enjoy a fun day out. Information from Mathew at 086 3328219.

Bingo cancelled
Gortnahoe Bingo is cancelled this week-end as a mark of respect to the late Pat Houlihan, our caller for the last seventeen years. The committee extends its heartfelt sympathy to his wife Maura and extended family. May he rest in peace. Bingo resumes on Saturday 29th December at 8.30.
