Masses for the Holy Souls
Thirty Masses for the Holy Souls are being offered in the parish during November for all those you have included in the lists of your dead. Please return these lists and offerings as soon as possible.

Family Mass
The November Family Mass is this Sunday 4th in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. "In November We Remember."

Cemetery Rosaries
The Rosary will be recited each Sunday in November in Glengoole, Gortnahoe and Good Shepherd cemeteries after Mass, in Boulick, Fennor and Aglish at 1.30 and in Ballinalackin at 3.00.

St. Vincent de Paul Conference
St. Vincent de Paul Conference Meeting on Monday 5th in Ballysloe School at 7.30. Sincerest thanks for your support of the very successful Raffle.

Senior Citizens
Grtnahoe Senior Citizens Committee Meeting on Tuesday 6th Nov at 7.30 in Gortnahoe Hall. Please come along.

Parish Annual
Thanks to all who contributed material for the Parish Annual and adhering to our deadlines. The 2012 edition will be launched on Friday 30th November at 8 pm in Gortnahoe Community Centre. All are invited to this night. Refreshments will be served.

Garden of Remembrance
Ballynonty Garden of Remembrance are holding a night of Comedy and Fun in the Complex, Killenaule on Friday Nov. 9th at 8.00. Items include Dancing, Song, Fashion and the One Act Comedy (Dispensary Dan) by Glengoole-Gortnahoe Drama Group. Proceeds for Garden Car Park.

G.A.A.Lotto
There was no winner of the €13,200 Jackpot on 1st Nov. at Hogan's, Ballysloe. Numbers drawn were 1, 13, 16 and 22. Lucky Dip winners were Mary Pollard, Littlefield, Margaret Barnaville, c/o Susan Corbett, Peg Corbett, Urard and Karen Gleeson, Coole. € 25 prize winner was Ann Stokes. Next Draw for € 13,400 at Hogan, Grange on 8th November.

Open Day
The Kilkenny Campus of NUI Maynooth, College Rd., Kilkenny (adjoining St. Kierans College) would like to invite all students interested in taking the first year of their BA Degree in Kilkenny City to join us at our Open Day on 10th November 2012 at 12.00. Students choosing to take this exciting new option will benefit by taking the 1st year of their BA degree close to home in a friendly learner centred environment – before moving to the main NUI Maynooth Campus for 2nd & 3rd year. Those living locally will also have the advantage of making significant savings on travel and accommodation costs.
