Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock
Please pray for all who are on the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock this Sunday, especially those who are on the pilgrimage to pray for some special intention.
Care of Boulick Cemetery
All are invited, especially those with family members buried in the cemetery, to come along to Boulick Cemetery on this Tuesday evening 7th August at 7.00 to work on ensuring that it will be fully prepared for the Annual Mass on 15th August at 7.00.
Juvenile G.A.A.
U-12s are playing their Mid Semi-Final against Drom on Tuesday 7th August at 7.30 in Pairc na NOg, also on Thursday 9th August U-14s are playing their Mid Semi-Final against Boherlahan at 7.30 in Pairc na nOg. Please come and support the Juveniles of the parish if at all possible.
G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the € 10,600 on the 2nd August. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 16 & 19. Lucky Dip winners were Karen O'Rourke, Carlow, Maggie Peters, Urlingford, Joe Hogan, Clonamicklon and Richie Corbett, Gortnahoe. Seller €25 winner was Keith Corbett. Next Draw for €10,800 at Mary Willies on 9th August.
Gortnahoe Youths FC
Registration for the new 2012/13 Soccer Season will take place this Wednesday 8th August from 6.00 to 7.00 at Gortnahoe Hall. Players from U 6 to U 14 are eligible to register. Training will commence on Friday 17th August for all age groups.

Prayer to Our Lady Of Knock
Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your Son, remembering His promise; "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find". Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick or depressed. Teach me to take part ever more reverently in the Holy Mass. Pray for me now, and at the hour of my death. Amen. Our Lady of Knock pray for us.
