We thank you all for your support in the last two years and anyone interested in getting involved on the Family Mass Team in the autumn would be more than welcome. Let either priest know.
Olympic Games
We wish the very best of luck to all our participants in the Olympic Games and it is good to know that the motto of the Games is; "The most important thing is not to triumph, but to take part."
Volunteers required
Work is now well underway on Glengoole Hall and very shortly volunteers will be required for power washing and painting the outside walls of the Hall. Dulux 'Let's Paint It' Project provides the paint for the exterior of the Hall. We as a community can show the importance of involvement, just the same as the parents and teachers did on the School walls outside the school at the start of the summer.

Prayer for Olympic Games
Lord, we thank you for good sporting competition and for success and failure when they come our way. Help us to compete to the fullness of our abilities, but not to make winning at all costs the pinnacle of our ambition. If we achieve success may we accept it with gratitude. Comfort us with the realisation that it is often on the anvil of failure that true character is moulded and shaped. Amen.
