As we come to the end of such a wonderful week, we pray that we all will be inspired to greater devotion for the Eucharist.

Hog in the Bog
This great Parish Event, takes place at Mary Willies on Saturday night 23rd June, a night for all to enjoy. Pig on the Spit will be served. Prize for best dressed Hill Billie. Music from 9.00. Na Fianna on stage from 10.30 to 12.30. Transport details on flyers distributed at Masses. Please ensure you book.

Sponsored Walk
Glengoole Hall Sponsored Walk will be on Thursday 28th June at Derryvilla Loop Walk starting at 7.45. Please give your support.

Glengoole Hall AGM
Glengoole Hall AGM will take place in the Hall on Monday 25th June at 8.30. As development work on the Hall will begin shortly we encourage a large number to come along to this meeting.

Cemetery Mass
Good Shepherd Cemetery Mass will be on Friday 29th June at 7.30.

Pilgrimage to Knock
Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will be on Sunday 5th August. Once again a bus will be travelling from the parish. So please give your name to Fr. O’Rourke if you are going.

Drugs and Alcohol Talk
Drugs and Alcohol Talk for parents and children of 5th & 6th Classes of each of the schools in the parish from Pat Mulcahy, Drugs Awareness Officer will be given in Gortnahoe Hall on Tuesday 19th June at 12.30. We are aware of the danger from use of drugs and alcohol in these times so all families are encouraged to attend and maximize the benefit from this meeting.

Talent Show
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Talent Show next Friday night 22nd June in Gortnahoe Hall at 7.30, a great night’s entertainment, showcasing local talent, in aid of Gortnahoe Community Field.

Family Fun and Craft Day
Millennium Family Resource Centre will hold their annual Family Fun and Craft Day on Friday 6th July from 3.00 to 7.00. Put it in your diary. Please contact Pauline on 052 9157992 if you would like to sell your own goods or crafts on the day, or for any other information.
Also MFRC will be holding an Information Day on Wednesday 20th June from 9.30 to 4.30 for anyone interested in our FETAC Level 4 Course commencing in September.

Juvenile GAA Club
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile G.A.A. Club would like to invite all Juveniles and families to take part in the Fundraising Fun Run/Walk on Sunday 22nd July at 1.30, starting at Glengoole Church and ending at Gortnahoe G.A.A. Field. Please keep this in mind.

All Juvenile Committee members please attend meeting on Wednesday 20th June in Club Rooms at 8.30. Also all parents are invited to the Primary Schools Blitz in Ballysloe School on Thursday 21st June, starting at 10.00
