Heartfelt Thanks
A sincere and heartfelt thanks is extended to the parishioners of Gortnahoe-Glengoole. Thanks to you the Golden Jubilee of Fr. John J. O’Rourke, A.P. was a huge success. There are too many people to try to thank individually, so therefore we as a parish should be very proud that no stone was left unturned to ensure that anyone visiting the parish on June the 4th was made feel very welcome. We are truly blessed to be part of a parish that is 100% committed to our community. May God bless you, Fr. O’Rourke, with continued good health into the future and thank you for giving us the opportunity to come together on this special occasion and celebrate with your family and friends.

My Thanks
Words cannot express the feeling of gratitude and appreciation of all that Monday night last summed up for me and all my relatives and friends. From the Archbishop down to young children all gave me the sense that I was in different ways part of their lives. May this continue into the years to come and always feel free to use my support as a priest.

You are invited to be part of their Annual Procession this Sunday at 7.00 starting at the Pallottine College.

Eucharistic Congress
Let this week be a time of special devotion to the Mass and Blessed Sacrament. Final Mass (Statio Orbis) Tickets that were ordered are available from Fr. Irwin. Please collect your ticket from him.

Good Shepherd Cemetery Mass
Good Shepherd Cemetery Mass is fast approaching, with only a few nights left for the Clean Up. Come along on Monday evening 11th June at 7.00.

Millennium Family Resource Centre will hold their annual Family Fun and Craft Day on Friday 6th July from 3.00 to 7.00. Put it in your diary. Please contact Pauline on 052 9157992 if you would like to sell your own goods or crafts on the day, or for any other information.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile Club
Could all past hurlers please check and see if they have any hurling helmets left lying around. Helmets are badly wanted for local National Schools. Contact Gerry Kavanagh at 086 3770341.
