May Procession
The annual May Procession in honour of Our Lady organised by the Legion of Mary will be held in Glengoole on this Sunday 20th May after 10.00 Mass. A special invitation to all the First Communion children to lead the procession and pray to Our Lady with the people.

Eucharistic Adoration Prayer Card
A Gift of Prayer Card is now available at our Eucharistic Adoration for you to take and give to a family member who is sick or studying for exams, etc. If you would like to offer an hour of prayer, simply sign the register for that hour and take a Gift Card, which are placed at the end of the church. Eucharistic Adoration takes place in Glengoole on Wednesdays from 10.00 to 10.00 and in Gortnahoe on Thursdays from 10.00 to 10.00.

Golden Jubilee
A meeting re the Golden Jubilee of V. Rev John J. O’Rourke takes place on Monday 21st May at 8.30 in Gortnahoe Hall. Anyone interested in helping with catering is most welcome.

St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul Society Meeting will be in Ballysloe School on Wednesday night at 7.30.

Community Games
Athletics evening Wednesday 23rd May in Gortnahoe Community Field . Help in running the events would be appreciated.

Church Gate Collection
Irish Cancer Society Church Gate Collections will be held in Gortnahoe and Glengoole next week-end 26th & 27th May. Please be generous.

Glengoole Hall
A Date for your Diary – Sponsored Walk on Saturday June 23rd at 7.30 at Derryvilla Lake.

Child Development Programme
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Juvenile G.A.A. Club are holding a Child Development Programme for U6, U8 & U10 Club Coaches and parents who are interested in helping on training days or days of games. All will be welcome on Monday 21st May at 8.00 in Gortnahoe National School. Please wear suitable indoor footwear in the new School Hall.

There was no winner of the €8,600 Jackpot on the 17th May at Dollys, Glengoole. Numbers drawn were 2, 15, 16 & 29. Lucky Dip winners were Philip Hogan, Patrick’s Gate, Alex. Hog in the Bog
Come along to this Parish Social night on 23rd June at Mary Willies. Music from 9pm with Na Fianna on stage from 10.30. Adm €10.00. Pig on the Spit. Prize for the best Hill Billie. Come and meet your friends.
