50th International Eucharistic Congress Ireland
June 10th to 17th 2012

4th National Collection
Sincerest thanks to all who contributed to the Collection for the Congress. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

First Communion
Congratulations to all who received their First Communion this year and to their families.

May Procession
The annual May Procession in honour of Our Lady organised by the Legion of Mary will be held in Glengoole on Sunday next, 20th May after 10.00 Mass. A special invitation to all the First Communion children to lead the procession and pray to Our Lady with the people.

Prayer Card
A Gift of Prayer Card is now available at our Eucharistic Adoration for you to take and give to a family member who is sick or studying for exams, etc. If you would like to offer an hour of prayer, simply sign the register for that hour and take a Gift Card, which are placed at the end of the church. Eucharistic Adoration takes place in Glengoole on Wednesdays from 10.00 to 10.00 and in Gortnahoe on Thursdays from 10.00 to 10.00.

Trip to Ennis
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens are going on a trip to Ennis on 7th and 8th August. Cost is € 100.00. Deposit of €20.00 with name to be paid to Ann Stokes before 22nd May. €20 extra if a single room is required.

Fetac Level 4 Applied Employment Skills Course
Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole will be commencing another Fetac Level 4 Applied Employment Skills Course in the autumn. For information contact Anne or Josephine at 052 9157992.

Cemetery Committee appeal for help
Good Shepherd Cemetery Committee are appealing for help in getting the graveyard ready for the Mass in June. A lot of physical work is required so a welcome to a large number on Tuesday night next at 7.00. If you have a shovel, rake or wheelbarrow bring them along for this special night.
