Parish Annual
The Parish Annual is now being prepared for publication. We ask all organisations to prepare their report in the next fortnight. We welcome all articles, photographs and items to the editorial board or the priests soon.

Meeting
There will be a meeting of Vincent de Paul Society on Tues. at 7.30.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
We are  invited to an afternoon with the Ballingarry Senior Citizens on Thursday 18th October. Leaving the Hall  at 2.00.   On Tuesday 30th October the Club will travel to The Arboretum at Leighlinbridge, leaving the Hall at 1.30. The charge is € 12.00 for the trip and evening tea. Please leave your names at the Post Office in good time.

Church Fund Raising
The inside of the Church is near completion. As we have come to the end of our second year of fund-raising, we make a special appeal to any parishioner who had pledged to pay, to make their contribution. The Finance Committee are very pleased with the response so far, particularly homes who did not make an original pledge, but have now made contributions. The parish will be proud of the beautiful church when completed.

North Tipperary Supported Employment offer a free service to people with varying abilities. Contact Edel McGarry, Job Coach at 087 9181852 Anniversary Bingo: The 12th Anniversary of Gortnahoe Bingo will be held on Sat. 20th October at 8.30 – over €2,000 in prize money and Spot Prizes on the night. As the Bingo is the main source of income to the Hall, we are appealing on this night especially for lots of our parishioners to come, even if you have never been at Bingo before, enjoy the night and lend support to our fund-raiser.

Gortnahoe Community Hall A.G.M.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 22nd October at 9.00 sharp. As the Hall is such a vital part of community life in Gortnahoe, we hope every house and organisation will be represented at the A.G.M.

The U. 21 Hurling V Upperchurch, will be in Holycross on Sat. 20th at 3.00.
AGM will be held on Friday 9th November in Glengoole Hall at 8.30. Nominations for Officers closes on 2nd November.

Counselling Service
Counselling Service for adults over 18 years is available at Glengoole MFRC. Sessions of 1 hour weekly from Monday to Thursday between 6.00 and 9.00. Charge is €10.00 per session. Information from Fidelma Fitzgerald at 052 57992.
