Education of Priests Collection
The annual Collection for the Education of Priests takes place this week-end, 31st May & 1st June. Please give generously. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Family Mass
The Family Mass for June takes place on this Sunday 1st June, the Feast of the Ascension. As it comes close to the ending of the School Year there is special involvement of school children and of altar servers.

First Thursday
Glengoole: Mass in Latin at 7.00.

First Friday
Glengoole; Confessions 6.30. Mass at 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration in Gortnahoe Church this Thursday will begin at 4.00 pm. and end at 7.00. There will be no Adoration earlier in the day due to a wedding ceremony. Next week will be the usual time, 10.00 to 7.00.

Priests visiting Clonmel Hospital
Up to now, when visiting Clonmel Hospital priests had access to the full list of patients. This list is no longer available, so we need your help to know who is in hospital. Please give the priests the names of those in Clonmel Hospital so that we can continue the tradition of support and blessing for patients from the parish.

Irish Pilgrimage Trust
Teresa Lanigan and Niamh Shanahan, students of Scoil Ruain, Killenaule would like to thank everyone who supported their Church Gate Collection. They were helpers with the Irish Pilgrimage Trust on their recent pilgrimage to Lourdes, which was a very enjoyable experience.

Athletics Evening
Community Games Athletics Evening will be held on Thursday evening 5th June in Gortnahoe Community Field at 7.00. Admission € 2.00.

Lotto Results
There was no winner of the € 13,200 last week; The numbers drawn were 2, 22, 23 and 28. Lucky Dip winners were Joan Burke, Gortnahoe, Michelle Lawlor, Gortnahoe, Ben Lawless, Garryclogh, Philly Wilson, Rathbeg. €25.00 winner was Ger O’Keeffe. Next Draw 5th June at Hogans, Grange. Jackpot is €13,400.00.

‘Bright Starts’ and ‘Little Buddies’
Gortnahoe Community Playgroup are now taking enrolments in their ‘Bright Starts’ and ‘Little Buddies’ rooms for Sept. 2014. All children aged 2 yrs & 10 mths – 6 yrs are welcome. Community Playgroup
MFRC Community Playgroup, Glengoole is now enrolling for September 2014 for children age 2yrs and 6months up. Free places are available (ECCE – free preschool year for children born between 2/2/10 – 30/6/11) & CERTS places (CE schemes and approved training schemes) also CCS (subsidised places for families on low incomes). Cancer Society collection
Thanks to all who supported the Irish Cancer Society Church gate collection in Gortnahoe last week-end. The sum of €462.05 was contributed.
