Scripture Sunday
This week-end, 27th & 28th October, everyone, at the invitation of Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly, is encouraged to realise how important Scripture is to us. Let’s make the reading of the Bible at Mass be a time of genuine reflection and inspiration. Let us bring the message of the Bible to our prayer and also the learning and prayers of our children.

Morning Mass
Gortnahoe: Monday and Tuesday . at 9.30.
Glengoole: Monday and Tuesday at 9.30.

Thursday November 1st.
Feast of All Saints Holyday of Obligation
Masses: Gortnahoe: Wednesday at 7.45. Thursday at 11.15.
Glengoole: Wednesday at 6.30. Thursday at 10.00.
The First Thursday Mass in Latin will be said this month on 8th November in Glengoole at 7.00 p.m.
Friday: Feast of All Souls: First Friday:
Masses: Gortnahoe 9.30 & 8.00. Glengoole : 9.30 .& 7.00.

Remembering Our Dead
The lists of all your dead to be included in the Masses during November and your offerings should be brought along to Mass this week-end or early in the coming week.
Holy Soul Candles will be on sale in Churches this week. Cost €1.

Cemetery Rosaries from Nov. 1st: Gortnahoe & Glengoole Churches after morning Masses. Fennor, Boulick & Aglish at 1.30. Ballinalacken at 3.00.

November Family Mass
Theme ‘In November we Remember’ Mass will be on Sunday 4th November in Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15. It marks a special sign of remembrance of our dead. Special candles will be lit before the altars and all names from the children will be hung through November on the Tree of Remembrance in both Churches.
