Mission Sunday
We are celebrating Mission Sunday this Sunday. We invite everyone to remember how the faith was spread throughout the world by our missionaries. Please remember our present and past missionaries in your prayers. The Annual Missions Collection will be taken up a bit later on.

Morning Mass
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.

Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00
Gortnahoe Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

Scripture Sunday
On the week-end of 27th & 28th October, everyone, at the invitation of Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly, is invited to realise how important Scripture is to us. Let’s make the reading of the Bible at Mass be a time of genuine reflection and inspiration. Let us bring the message of the Bible to our prayer and also the learning and prayers of our children.

Parish Development 400 Club Draw
New Parish Development 400 Club Draw begins in the month of November. The total charge for the full year is €50. Promoters of the 400 Club for the coming year are now making contact with all the parish as well as all who joined the Draw in the past year. Please be ready to join and give necessary help to the parish as well as winning great prizes.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Annual
All efforts are now being made for a wonderful Annual. Last Meeting is at Fr. O’Rourke’s on Wednesday 24th at 8.00. All material for the Annual to parishannual@gortnahoe.com immediately. Do not regret being late for the Annual, be on time.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
A meeting will be in Ballysloe N.S. on Monday night 21st Oct. at 7.30. All members please attend.

Family Mass Meeting
The November Family Mass will be on Sunday 4th November. The theme will be “In November we remember”. A special invitation to as many as can come to prepare for this special Family Mass on Monday 22nd at 7.30. Young and older are most welcome to the meeting.

Halloween Party and Ghost Train
Halloween Party, including Ghost Train will be in Ballynonty Community Field on Saturday 27th October at 6.00 p.m. Come and join in a wonderful celebration for all, but especially for the young.

Blood Donor Clinic
Blood Transfusion Service Blood Donor Clinic will be at The Dome, Thurles, Tues. 30, Wed. 31st, Thurs. 1st Nov. 5.30 to 8.30. also Sunday 4th from 12.00 to 3.00. Be ready to subscribe blood.
