Morning Mass
Gortnahoe: each morning except Friday . at 9.30.
Glengoole: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30.
First Thursday: Glengoole: Mass in Latin at 7.00.
First Friday: Glengoole: Confessions at 6.30. Mass at 7.00
Gortnahoe: Confessions at 7.30. Mass at 8.00.

October Priests Collection
October Priests Collection will be taken up on week-end of 6th & 7th of October. Please contribute generously to this Collection. Envelopes for the Collection were distributed at the beginning of the year. We ask the usual collectors to kindly attend.

Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00
Gortnahoe Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

Parish October Family Mass Glengoole
Sunday 7th October at 10.00. Gortnahoe on Sunday 7th at 11.15. Special Theme: Celebrating the Rosary through the month of October, especially with our families. A special welcome to all our parishioners to these Masses on Sunday 7th.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Annual
All efforts are now being made for a wonderful Annual. Realise that your contributions should be completed and sent to the next Meeting at Fr. O’Rourke’s on Wednesday 3rd at 8.00.

Preparing for Scripture Sunday
Preparing for Scripture Sunday on Sunday 28th October. We welcome the interest of many people in a special gathering on three Tuesdays at the Fr. Tirry Centre in Fethard. A great crowd was present last Tuesday. Come in even greater numbers over the next two Tuesdays.

On Tuesday 2nd Oct. Fr. Jordan O’Brien O.P. will speak on the Word, preparing for God’s Word and on 9th October, Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly’s theme is Scripture: God’s Word. All are at 7.30. Our attachment to God’s Word can grow on each of these nights. So be prepared to come along.

Day for Life 2018 will be on Sunday 7th October
We should all promote greater respect for people, especially those who are being disrespected . Let our prayers be for the respect of all people.

Self-love and Wellbeing Workshop
MFRC, Glengoole Self-love and Wellbeing Workshop will be on Thursday 11th October at the Centre from 10.30 to 12.30. It will include a light meal. The FREE Introductory Workshop is dealing with so many worries in peoples lives. Contact Julie at Phone 052 9157992.

Free Blood Pressure Check
Irish Heart Foundation Mobile Unit will attend MFRC Wednesday 3rd October from 10.00 to 4.00. A free Blood Pressure Check is included.

Self Defence Classes
Ladies Self Defence Classes (Basic) in Gortnahoe Hall 8.30 – 9.30 p.m. Four Classes. Started Thursday 20th September. All ages welcome. €5.00 per person per night.

Cake Sale at Gortnahoe Hall for Sardinia
A group is travelling shortly to Sardinia for charitable work and help for the poor people there. This Cake Sale will take place in the Hall on Sunday 7th October at 11.00. All your attendance, generosity and support will be most welcome.
