Parish October Family Mass Preparing Meeting
The Family Mass will be on Sunday 7th October. The meeting will be in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday next 24th September at 8pm. All are invited to come along.
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Annual
It is all systems go now for the publication of the Parish Annual and getting everything ready. Our next meeting is on Wednesday night next at 8pm. A very real invitation to anybody who might be willing to be helpful. Come along on Wednesday.
Preparing for Scripture Sunday
Preparing for Scripture Sunday on Sunday 28th October. We welcome the interest of many people in a special gathering on three Tuesdays at the Fr. Tirry Centre in Fethard. The first gathering is on Tuesday 25th September. Mary Hanrahan will speak that night on the subject of Proclaiming the Word.
On Tuesday 2nd Oct. Fr. Jordan O’Brien O.P. will speak on the Word, preparing for God’s Word and on 9th October, Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly’s theme is Scripture: God’s Word. All are at 7.30pm. Our attachment to God’s Word can grow on each of these nights. So be prepared to come along.

Pray for a recently kidnapped priest
Archbishop Kieran appeals to us to pray for Fr. Ierhigi S.M.A. who has been recently kidnapped, that he may be found and released to his parish work in Niger.
