Morning Masses
Gortnahoe: each morning  except Friday at 9.30   
Glengoole: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday   at 9.30

Family Mass
Family Mass for May will be on Sunday 6th May in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. A warm welcome to all to these Masses.

First Communion
First Communion for the children of Glengoole and Ballysloe Schools will be on Saturday next 5th May at Glengoole Church with Mass at 11.00. A very warm welcome to all families and their friends and neighbours.

First Thursday
Mass in Latin in Glengoole at 7.00.

First Friday
Glengoole Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00.

Special Day of Adoration Gortnahoe
Thursday 3rd Special Day of Adoration promoting the retention of the 8th Amendment from 10.00 on Thursday until 10.00 on Friday.  Mass intention on Thursday will also be for its retention.

Protection of all Life
As we come closer to the Referendum it is very important to vote in such a way as guarantees the protection of all life from conception to death.

World Meeting of Families Preparation
Family Fun Day takes place at Tipperary Racecourse on this Sunday 29th April.  A special invitation goes out to all families to come to join in this great day. It begins at the racecourse at 1.00 and continues with  sport and religious events until 4.30. Come along

Family Reflection
“Every child has a right to receive love from a mother and a father. Both are necessary  for a child’s development and the solid foundation of the family”.

Preparation for the Annual Parish Exam Mass
This year this Mass will be held in Glengoole Church on Friday 11th May at 7.30. Preparation meeting will be on this Monday night 30th  April  in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.00.. Each year those doing public Exams receive a personal invitation to attend this Mass and again this year organisation will be similar. Helpers come along.

Camogie Tournament
Camogie Club U 16 Tournament,  in memory of Emily Wilson, will be on Sunday 13th May starting at 1.30. All are invited to attend this special day.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
There will be meeting of all members on Monday night in Ballysloe School at 7.30. A very special night will be for the Table Quiz at Hogans, Ballysloe on Friday night 11th May, starting at 9.00. Tables are €20.00 per table. All proceeds for the Society. Come along.

MFRC, Glengoole
Parent Support Outreach in Gortnahoe Hall on Thursday 3rd May 10.30 to 12.30. Information , advice, Support and Referral to Relevant Services. Contact  052 9157992 or just drop in. 

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the Jackpot of €17,000 .  Numbers drawn were 7 ,10, 18 & 26, Lucky Dip winners were Alice Hogan, Ballysloe, Albert Stanley, Urard, Dermot Fennelly, Boulick, Jer Peters, Rathdowney.  Sellers Winner was Ryan’s Shop, Gortnahoe. Next week’s Draw Thurs 3rd May at Prouts. Jackpot of  €17,200.
