Pastoral Letter from Archbishop Kieran
“Prepare the Way of the Lord” has been published and is now being distributed to all parishioners in the Archdiocese. Please collect a copy from your seat or from the end of the Church. The Letter is inviting all of us to consider our role in the Church and the importance of the future for all parishioners. Please read the letter and value the messages it contains.

Amoris Programme is about to be launched. It includes Practical Initiatives for Popular Moments in our parishes.
The Joy of Love – Parish Conversations.
A diocesan gathering for people and priests will be held in the Ballykisteen Hotel on 18th October. We are all invited to be ready to be involved in the Church in the future.
St Vincent de Paul Meeting in Ballysloe
St Vincent de Paul Conference Meeting will be in Ballysloe N.S. on Monday night next, 18th Sept. at 7.30. All members are asked to attend.
The Incredible Years Programme for parents of children aged 3-6years will be delivered in the Centre – Thursday nights from 7 to 9 pm, for 14 weeks starting 5th October. The programme strengthens parenting skills in the care of children. The Course is free. Please contact Programme Facilitator, Julie O’Halloran on 052 9157992 for further information.
Training for Safeguarding Representatives
On Saturday 7th October in the Anner Hotel, Thurles, the Archdiocese will hold a training day for any new safeguarding representatives or any representative who has not trained in the past three years. The day is from 9.30 to 4.00pm
Support for bereaved parents
Anam Cara the organisation that supports bereaved parents is holding a bereaved Parents Information Evening on Monday 18th September, in Horse and Jockey Hotel starting at 7.30pm
