Archbishop Kieran’s Pastoral Letter
Pastoral Letter from Archbishop Kieran; “Prepare the Way of the Lord” has been published and is now being distributed to all parishioners in the Archdiocese. Please collect a copy from your seat or from the end of the Church. The Letter is inviting all of us to consider our role in the Church and the importance of the future for all parishioners. The Joy of Love – Parish Conversations
A diocesan gathering for people and priests will be held in the Ballykisteen Hotel on 18th October. We are all invited to be ready to be involved in the Church in the future.
Senior Citizens Club
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Club will hold their first meeting after the Summer Break in Gortnahoe Hall on Tuesday 26th Sept at 2.30. A very warm welcome to all who come and also to all new members.
MFRC, Glengoole
The Incredible Years Programme for parents of children aged 3-6years will be delivered in the Centre – Thursday nights 7 – 9 pm. for 14 weeks starting 5th October. The programme strengthens parenting skills in the care of children. The Course is free. Please contact Programme Facilitator, Julie O’Halloran on 052 9157992 for further information.
Training for Safeguarding Representatives
On Saturday 7th October in the Anner Hotel, Thurles the Archdiocese will hold a training day for any new safeguarding representatives or any representative who has not trained in the past three years . The day is from from 9.30 to 4.00
