Hunger Crisis in East Africa
Church Collection to help Trocaire to fight the Hunger Crisis in East Africa where 25million people are starving to death from famine: On Saturday and Sunday Masses this week-end, 22nd & 23rd July, a second Collection will be taken up to help this Charity. We call on your greatest generosity to help ease this awful disaster through the work of Trocaire.
Glengoole Cemetery: Mass will take place on Tuesday 25th July at 7.30. It will be followed by refreshments in the Hall.
Fennor Cemetery: Mass will be on Thursday 27th July at 7.30.
The Annual Sponsored Walk in aid of the site beside Gortnahoe Church will take place this Friday, 28th July at 7.00. Sponsorship Cards are available from the Secretary, Richard Dunne at 056 8834252. The Walk will be launched by Timmy Floyd, Secretary of Tipperary G.A.A. and the Liam McCarthy Cup will also be present. Refreshments after the Walk will be at Hogans, Grange, where the July 400 Club Draw will take place at 8.30. All support will be truly appreciated.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Glengoole on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00. Gortnahoe on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. Come for adoration.

Catholic Grandparents Association
On Wednesday next 26th July, Feast of Joachim & Anne a special Mass for grandparents will be held in the Cathedral, Thurles at 7.30. It is the perfect celebration of the importance our grandparents in our life. Come along in great numbers.

Glengoole United Soccer Club will hold a Table Quiz in Hogans, Ballysloe on Friday August 4th at 9.30. €20.00 for a Table of Four. Please support.
The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock - Sunday 6th August
A final call to all who have not yet booked, before it is too late. The bus from Ballingarry will be in Ballysloe at 8.15 and Gortnahoe at 8.20. The charge is €20 for adults and €10 for children. Give your name to Gortnahoe Post Office, to Bridie, Glengoole sacristan or to Fr. O’Rourke.
Community Field Day
Ballynonty Community Field Day will be on Sunday 30th July, with Lambert Puppet Show from Dublin, Fancy Dress, and Side Shows. Fancy Dress starts at1.00. Fun Day assured.
G.A.A. Lotto Results
There was no winner of the Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 7, 15, 29 & 30. Lucky Dip winners of €50 were, Ned Slattery, Littleton,. Barnaville Family, Fennor, Dermot Fennelly, Boulick, Sarah Cahill, Gortnahoe. Sellers Prizewinner was John Norton. Next Draw will be on July 27th at Hogans, Ballysloe for a Jackpot of €9,400.
