Feast of the Immaculate Conception
Tuesday next, 8th December is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. A Holyday of Obligation. Masses in Glengoole will be on Monday at 6.30pm and on Tuesday at 10.00. Masses in Gortnahoe will be on Monday at 7.45pm and on Tuesday at 11.15. His Holiness the Pope will launch the Year of Mercy in Rome on Tuesday and it continues until 20th November 2016.

Gortnahoe: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 9.30
Glengoole: Wednesday and Thursday at 9.30.

December Family Mass
On this Sunday 6th December in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. Theme: Preparing for the coming of Jesus.

Parish Carol Service
The Parish Carol Service will be on Sunday 13th December, in Gortnahoe Church at 7.00. A very warm welcome to all our parishioners.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Weekly adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in Glengoole Church on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. We encourage as many as possible to visit Jesus.

Parish Annual has been launched
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Annual has been launched and is now available, a wonderful book for just €10.00. Make sure you get copies, in the Churches, the Post Offices and the shops for yourself and for sending to friends who look forward each year to such a great Christmas gift.

Sale of Work on this Sunday
Gortnahoe Sale of Work on this Sunday 6th December beginning at 1.30. Santa arrives at 2.00. Parish support very much appreciated.

Bag Packing in Dunne’s Stores
St. Vincent de Paul Society local Conference Bag Packing in Dunne’s Stores, Thurles on Thursday 17th & Friday 18th December, from 10 am to 9 pm both days. All volunteers welcome. To volunteer contact any member of the S. V. De P. or ring 087 1482056 by Monday.

The Annual Christmas Collection will be next week-end, 12th & 13th December. We look forward to the kind of generous support which we receive each year from you.

Application Forms for Christmas Assistance are available in Gortnahoe Post Office, MFRC. Glengoole and in both Churches from Dec. 3rd to 11th.. Leave completed Forms back in Post Office or MFRC by December. 11th.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Committee:
Sincerest thanks to all who contributed to the Church Gate Collection. €642 was collected. Annual Christmas Dinner is on Sunday 13th December at 1.00. All are welcome.
