Gortnahoe Folk Choir
There will be folk choir practice this Wednesday 4th December at 8.00 in the Church in preparation for Christmas Eve and the Annual Carol Service. All singers and musicians are most welcome.

Church Choir Practice
Glengoole Church Choir Practice will be on Wednesday night next 4th December at 7.00. A very sincere call to all singers to come along and make this Christmas a special time.

Thanks for Trocaire Emergency Appeal

Christmas Party in Gortnahoe Hall on Sunday 8th Dec. at 1.00. All welcome to wonderful food and entertainment.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Annual, a most beautiful and lavish production, for all of us and for parishioners in so many parts of the world. It is on sale today after Masses and in all shops and Post Offices. Wonderful value for €10.00. Congratulations to the all involved in its production.

Sale of Work
Gortnahoe Sale of Work in aid of Gortnahoe Hall will take place this Sunday starting at 1.30. Santa arriving at 2.00. Wheel of Fortune, Christmas Flower Arrangements and wreaths, fuel, confectionary, books, bric a brac and many other attractions. Support from the parish much appreciated

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Meeting on Monday night at 7.30 in Ballysloe School. The Society calls for a most generous response to the Annual Church Gate Collection on 7th and 8th December. It is adopting the same approach to the Christmas Hamper/Assistance as last year and will help as many as possible. Application Forms are available in Gortnahoe Post Office, Family Resource, Glengoole & in both Churches, from now until 7th December. Leave completed Forms back to either Gortnahoe Post Office or Millennium Family Resource, Glengoole by December 7th.

GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the € 8,400 Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 11, 16, 22 & 30. Lucky Dip winners were Tom Fitzgerald, Clonora, Marion Fennelly, Crabb, Joe O’Brien, Urlingford, Timmy Campion, Graiguewood. . Sellers Prize Winner was Wayne Corbett. Next Draw on 5th December at Dolly’s Glengoole Jackpot 8,600. All tickets purchased between now and 19th December will be entered into a draw for four Christmas Hampers.

Glengoole Family Resource Centre
The Annual Christmas Party will be on Wednesday 4th December at 1.30, for € 5.00 A welcome to everyone. Clothes Recycling Collection on 6th December to help raise funds for the Centre. Please deliver all clean unwanted clothes by 9.30 on 6th Dec.

Celebration of Light
Console Celebration of Light for families and friends bereaved by suicide takes place at 4.00 on Sunday 1st December at Bothar na Naomh Church.
