Pilgrimage Day
Fatima Pilgrimage Day is in Holycross Abbey this Sunday 25th August, including Stations, Anointing of the Sick and Mass. You are invited.
Family Mass
Sunday next, 1st September is Family Mass Sunday in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. At the Mass we are invited to make our Year of Faith a time to bring us closer to God. There will be a meeting of the Family Mass Committee on Monday at 7.30 in Gortnahoe Hall
Committee Meeting
Parish Committee Meeting will be in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday night at 8.30 to discuss the plans drawn up for the ground beside Gortnahoe church.
Glengoole Hall Committee
Meeting of Glengoole Hall Committee on Thursday night at 8.00. Full attendance essential.
Support Information Evening
Bereavement Support Information Evening will take place at Milford Care Centre on Tuesday 27th August from7.00 to 8.30.

Thank you to all for making my Jubilee Celebration in Glengoole on 17th August a joyful, prayerfilled thanksgiving for all. This is my prayer for you as we travel on. Parish Annual
All organisations please submit articles for this years Parish Annual as soon as possible to parishannual@gortnahoe.com or to Gortnahoe Post Office, also photographs of special occasions, weddings, baptisms and special birthdays, etc. Thank you.
Assembling photographs for our historical Parish Book of Photographs is very well underway, with a huge amount of parish photographs, going back for very many years already collected. Have you a photograph of any of the priests who worked in the parish? They would be most welcome and would be returned to you immediately after scanning. Please bring them to the Post Office at Gortnahoe or to Ryans Shop. All other photos most welcome also.

There was no winner of the €5,600 Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 12, 15 & 20. Resource Centre Fun Day
Millennium Family Resource Centre Fun Day will be on Friday 30th August from 3.00 to 7.00. Everyone is welcome and is invited.
Calor Community Champion
