Collection for The Pope
Collection for The Pope (Peters Pence Collection) will be taken up next week-end. Please be generous in your support of this Annual Collection for the Pope and the Vatican. Envelopes for the Collection were distributed at the beginning of the year.

Knock Pilgrimage
A final call to our parishioners to come on this Year of Faith Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock on Sunday next 4th August. The usual bus from Ballingarry and Gortnahoe Parishes will travel. The bus will be leaving Ballingarry at 7.45 and will be in Ballysloe at 8.15 and Gortnahoe at 8.25. Charge is € 20.00 for adults and € 10.00 for children. Please give names to Gortnahoe Post Office or Bridie O’Shea not later than Monday.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Buses will leave Gortnahoe Hall on Tuesday morning, 6th August 2013 for trip to Killarney. All monies to be paid on or before Friday 2nd August.

There was no winner of the €4,800 Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 5, 9 & 17. Dear Jesus, look with love on grandparents the world over. Protect them! They are a source of enrichment for families, for the Church and for all of society. Support them! As they grow older, may they continue to be for their families strong pillars of Gospel faith, guardians of noble domestic ideals, living treasuries of sound religious traditions. May they pass on the fruits of their mature human and spiritual experience. Amen
