Special Prayer Weekend on 13th and 14th July
The Bishops have designated this week-end for special prayer for Mothers and Unborn Babies. Special Day of Life Leaflets are available in the Church. Please take a copy and include its special Prayer as often as you can now and into the future.

Cemetery Mass
Glengoole Cemetery Mass will be on Thursday night next 18th July at 7.30. Please pass the word of this Mass to families who may wish to attend.

Knock Pilgrimage
The Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday 4th August. As usual a bus will come through the parish for that pilgrimage. Please ensure that your name is included to Gortnahoe Post Office or to Bridie O’Shea as soon as possible.

Lotto
There was no winner of the €4,400 Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 13, 22 & 26. Lucky Dip winners were Eddie Hennessy, Templemore, Billy Walsh, Gortnahoe, Darren, Eimear & Alex, Rathbeg, Tony Ivors, Gortnahoe. €25 Sellers Prize winner was Prouts. Next Draw 18th July at Dolly’s, Glengoole. Jackpot €4,600.

Charity Walk
Charity Walk with Alex in Glengoole on 16th July at 7.00. Registration Fee is €10.00. All proceeds go to the Jack & Jill Foundation. Walkers will have a choice of 2, 4, 6 or 7 km. Contact Resource Centre at 052 9157992.

Millennium Family Resource Centre
Full Time E Business Level 5 Course in Millennium Family Resource Centre will begin in September with Modules such as Web Authorising, Entrepreneurial Skills, Communications and Work Experience. Interviews on Monday & Tuesday 15th & 16th July from 10.00 to 4.00. Phone 052 9157992.

Famine 1848 Walk
This annual Walk from the Commons to The War House, led by Dr. Martin Mansergh, takes place on Saturday, 27 July at 3pm.. The Walk commemorates all those who died during the Great Famine and the 1848 Rising. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje
