Gortnahoe-Glengoole Community Text Alert
A very important meeting of the Community Text Alert will take place on Monday 22nd April at the Community Hall, Gortnahoe at 8.15 sharp. It is important that every organisation is represented at this meeting as well as representatives from all homes, to discuss the progress of the campaign to date and to arrange a date for the launching of this valuable new service.

GAA Lotto
There was no winner of the € 2,000 Jackpot at the draw at Prouts. The numbers drawn were 10, 12, 25 & 26. Lucky Dip winners Michelle & Aidan Morrissey, Mullinahone, P.J. Ryan, Rathbeg, P.J. Talent Competition
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens will hold a Talent Competition on Tues. 30th April at 2.30 in Gortnahoe Hall. Other Clubs will also take part. We look forward to you singing or dancing or reciting poetry.

Table Quiz
Glengoole National School are holding a Table Quiz in Dolly’s Bar on Saturday 27th April at 9.30. All support will be greatly appreciated.

Juvenile GAA
Your support would be appreciated at the following matches during the week; U16s v Upperchurch-Drombane in Drombane Monday 7.30.; U 12s semi-final v Boherlahan-Dualla in Dualla Tuesday 6.30.; u14s Boherlahan-Dualla in Gortnahoe on Thursday at 7.00. All players be there 30 minutes before throw-in and don’t forget gum shields. All membership is now due and must be paid before the end of April. All paid up members will be entered into a free draw for a hoodie.

MWGS
Go raibh míle maith agat to all who supported our Golf Classic last week-end, through teams, sponsorship and buying tickets. It was a brilliant success. To dat6e we have cleared € 9,500.00 after all expenses paid. Pieta House, ACT Cork University Hospital and Gortnahoe Playground will be the recipients of this money. Presentation of cheques will be this Saturday night 20th April in Mary Willies at 8.30 SHARP. All most welcome to attend.

Soccer Roadshow
Tottenham Hotspur Soccer Roadshow will be held this year from Mon. 1st July to Fri. 5th July in Gortnahoe. Places limited to 60 children from age 5 to 15. Discount available for booking before May 24th. Contact Michael Lyons at 086 8167936 for further information.

Saturday 4th May is designated as a special Day of Prayer for unborn life at Our Lady’s Shrine, Knock focusing on prayer and liturgy.
