Supporting the Missions
A sister from the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary will visit the parish on Saturday & Sunday 23rd & 24th February to speak at Masses and give an opportunity for you to support their Missions.

Parish Team AGM
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Team AGM will take place on Monday 18th February in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.30. All parishioners come along.

Community Alert
Following on the meeting at Killenaule last Friday a really important meeting for the parish will be held in Glengoole Hall on Tuesday night 26th February at 7.00. If you ignore this meeting you are probably telling burglars that nobody is paying attention. So come along.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the € 16,200 Jackpot this week The numbers drawn were 9,12, 17, & 21. Lucky Dip winners were Marie Flanagan, Gaile, Kevin Butler, The Commons, Angela Healy, Urlingford, Doireann O'Neill, Fennor. € 25 Sellers Prize winner was Centra, Urlingford. Next Draw is 21st February in Hogans, Grange. Jackpot will be € 16,400.

Community Games County Cross Country
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Community Games County Cross Country for girls and boys under 12, 13& 14 in Thurles Crokes AC on Sunday 17th Feb. at 2.00. Entries on day €2.00. Contact Carmel Troy at 087 6449674.

Coffee Morning and Cake Sale
Coffee Morning and Cake Sale in Gortnahoe Hall on Sunday 17th February in aid of Book Rental Scheme for Gortnahoe School. Come & enjoy it.

G.A.A.
Five Year Development Plan Meeting will be in Gortnahoe Hall on Tuesday 19th February at 8.00 to discuss the Plan, so important for the Club.

Registration Night
Registration Night for the Juvenile G.A.A. Club members will be on Thursday 21st February from 7.30 to 8.30 in the Gortnahoe Club Rooms. The cost is €20.00 for 1 child and €5.00 extra for each subsequent child. Gum shields, which are now obligatory will be on sale for € 5.00 on the night.

Camogie and Girls Football Club Registration Evening for U6s to U 18s on Monday night 18th Feb. from 8.00 to 9.00 in G.A.A. Clubrooms. The Registration fee is €20 for the first child & €15 for subsequent children.

Golf Society
Mary Willies Golf Society membership for 2013 now due. First Outing on Sat. 23rd March in Rathdowney. Pay at pub or contact 087 0699073.

Golf Classic on Friday afternoon and Saturday 12th & 13th April in Rathdowney GC in aid of ACT (Action Cancer Treatment, Cork University Hospital) and Pieta House. Contact Paddy Cleere at 086 37972760.

Public Meeting
A Public Meeting will be in Amby's, Ballingarry on Monday 18th Feb. at 8.00 to discuss the condition of roads in the Slieveardagh area. Come along.
