Gortnahoe Folk Choir
If you would like to sing or play music with the Folk Choir for Christmas please join our practices every Wednesday night at 8.00 in Gortnahoe Church. Make Christmas very special.

Carol Service
Glengoole Choir will hold their first Practice in preparation for the Carol Service and Christmas singing in the Church on Wednesday night at 8.30. A very warm welcome to all singers of every age and musicians on the night.

Service of Light
CONSOLE annual Service of Light to remember the life of a loved one who died by suicide at Bothar na Naomh Church, Thurles on Sun 25th Nov. 4.00.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
St. Vincent de Paul Society will be adopting the same approach to the Christmas Hamper/Assistance Programme as last year. SVP will strive to assist the people who most need our help by making the most efficient use of our limited funds. Application Forms for Assistance will be in Gortnahoe and Glengoole Post Offices and in both Churches from Nov. 26th to Dec. 7th. If you need financial help for Christmas, please fill in an Application Form and return it in a sealed envelope to the boxes in either Post Office by Dec. 7th. The SVP will do their very best to give help to as many as possible.

Sale of Work
Gortnahoe Sale of Work will be on Sunday next 2nd Dec. Circulars and tickets have been distributed to the households in the parish. A member of the committee, in so far as is possible, will call during the coming week to collect any items you may have for the Sale of Work and tickets. If nobody calls please drop anything you may have into any local member of the Hall Committee or into the Hall on Sunday morning next. Enjoy the day.

Mass for the deceased
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Club Day with Mass for the deceased, on Tuesday 27th at 2.30. Also Church Gate Collection on 1st & 2nd December.

Defibrillator Group
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Defibrillator Group will hold the AGM on Mon. 26th November in Gortnahoe hall at 8.00. It is vital that all members attend.

Parish Annual
All are invited to the launch of the 2012 Parish Annual in Gortnahoe Community Centre on Friday 30th November at 8 pm. Guest of Honour will be Fr. Joe Walsh. Refreshments will be served. Please come along to meet Fr. Joe and be one of the first to buy the book.

G.A.A.Lotto
There was no winner of the €13,800 Jackpot on 15th Nov. at Mary Willies. Numbers drawn were 12, 17, 19 and 21. Lucky Dip winners were Anne Bourke, Longford Pass, Nora Neary, c/o Jimmy Meighan, Joe Maher, Coalbrook, John Phelan, Graigaman. € 25 prize winner was Dollys, Glengoole. Next Draw for € 14,000 at Prouts on 29th November.
