Mission Sunday
This week-end we celebrate Mission Sunday. Please remember in your prayers the wonderful work of so many missionaries, men and women, who spread and are continuing to spread the faith in so many parts of the world. The annual Collection for their support will be taken up next month.

Parish Council Meeting
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Parish Council Meeting will take place on Monday night next 21st October in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.30. All members please attend. New members are invited and are most welcome.
Holy Hour
Having celebrated the Day for Life, we are well aware of the need for prayer to support all children in the womb. A Holy Hour of Prayer to promote care for life will take place in Gortnahoe Church on Thursday night next 26th October from 8.00 to 9.00. Please come along and add your prayers to all who are praying for such an important cause.
November Masses
We are coming close to the beginning of November, the month of prayer for the holy souls. Please complete your listing of the souls of the dead in your family and bring the lists to the churches next week-end.
Church Gate Collection
Please support the Church Gate Collection this week-end for the Pallottine Fathers.
Blessing of Glengoole Hall
Blessing of the newly re-furbished Glengoole Hall will take place after the 10.00 Mass on Sunday next 28th October. Please come along. Teas served.
G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the € 12,800 on the 18th September. The numbers drawn were 1, 10, 22 & 24 Lucky Dip winners were Tony Wall, Fennor, Kay Skehan, Fennor, Kitty Corbett, Mellison, Denis McGarry, Inchorourke. Seller €25 winner was Andy O'Gorman. Next Draw for €13,000 at Prouts, on 25th October.
Pioneer Total Abstinence Association Annual Walk
will take place in Grange on this Sunday 21st October starting in Grange Village at 2.00. Sponsorship really welcomed by Fr. O'Rourke. The walk will end with refreshments at Hogans, Bar, Grange. Please support and come for the walk.
Meeting
The A.G.M. of Glengoole Development Group will take place on Monday 22nd October at 6.30. in Glengoole Hall. All are invited.

Defibrillator Group
Gortnahoe-Glengoole defibrillator Group are planning to place defib machines throughout the parish and they are looking for volunteers to train in cpr and defib use from Grange, Ballysloe, Glengoole. Ballynonty are willing to help on a rota. Precedence will be given to areas with people trained. Names and enquiries to Gortnahoe Post Office 056 8834101.
