St. Vincent de Paul Conference Raffle
Preparations are now in hand for the Annual Raffle which will be held at Bingo on 27th October. Please support the Raffle by being generous to Ticket Sellers or sell some books.

Glengoole Hall
Painting of the interior of Glengoole Hall has commenced and the exterior paint from Dulux ‘Let’s Paint It’ Project has arrived. Volunteers are now needed to paint both the inside and the outside of the Hall. We would also welcome volunteers who can power wash or have experience of spray painting. Again we stress that volunteers are needed. Come along this Monday night at 7.00.

Senior Citizens
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens are resuming and revamping their monthly Get-Together, starting next Tuesday 25th September from 2.30 to 5.00. Garda Clodagh Kenny from Thurles Garda Station will attend to speak on House and Personal Security.

Anniversary Bingo
Gortnahoe Anniversary Bingo will be on Saturday night next 29th September at 8.30. Prize Money € 2,500. Parish support would be appreciated

Classes
Please return questionnaires for the classes in Gortnahoe Hall this week-end. It is hoped to commence Classes within the next two weeks.

Table Quiz
A Table Quiz in aid of Glengoole FC will be held in Dolly’s Bar, Glengoole on Friday next 28th September at 9.30. Table of 4 €20.00. Your support would be much appreciated.

Parish Annual
The closing date of October 1st is almost upon us in gathering material for the 2012 Parish Annual. Please ensure that you have all the memories of the year sent through for publication before this date . Special occasions should be remembered. Your articles, photos of Baptisms, Weddings, Graduations, Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries etc. All the achievements and events of the year need writing about. Make the Annual a great read. Preferably please email to parishannual@gortnahoe.com or drop the material to Ann Stokes at Gortnahoe Post Office.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the € 12,000 on the 20th September. The numbers drawn were 20, 23, 25 & 28 Lucky Dip winners were Anne Byrne, Urlingford, Nora Skehan, Littleton, John Taylor, Boulick, Andrew O’Gorman, Knockboy . Seller €25 winner was Anne Stokes, Gortnahoe P.O. Next Draw for €12,200 at Hogans, Ballysloe on 27th September.

Juvenile G.A.A.
U-14 A Shield Semi-Final v Drom & Inch will take place this Monday 24th Sept. at 6.00 in Gortnahoe G.A.A. Field.

Cake Sale and Coffee Morning
Volunteers in our community are fundraising for Heart to Hand Charity in Albania to help their communities. Please support this Sale in Gortnahoe Community Hall after 11.15 Mass on this Sunday 23rd September. Contact Grainne or Rebecca O’Gorman at 087 6760064. See you there.

Positive Education Week
Positive Education Week Thurles organized by Successful Ageing, Thurles, from 1st to 5th October includes a selection of events, including a trip to Croke Park. Leaflets available from Thurles Library Phone 0504 29720.
