The July Priests Collection for the Archbishop and priests, both active and retired, is being taken up this week-end. We ask for your generous contributions. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.
Family Mass
Family Mass for July is on this Sunday in Gortnahoe at 11.15 and in Glengoole at 10.00. Theme is ‘God’s Healing Hand’ and your Petition Leaflets will be included in our special offerings at these Masses.
Cemetery Mass
Mill Cemetery Mass, Urlingford will be on this Friday 6th July at 7.30.
Family Fun and Craft Day
Millennium Family Resource Centre will hold their annual Family Fun and Craft Day on Friday 6th July from 3.00 to 7.00. Loads of fun activities and stalls for all the family on the day. Come and be entertained and helped.
Kilcooley Parish Fete on Sunday 8th July
This wonderful occasion starts at 2.00 at the Old Kilcooley School House up Grange Hill towards The Commons. Numerous stalls, such as Cake stall, Plant stall, Games, snail race, live music, plenty to eat, a Raffle, with wonderful prizes. Come, support, enjoy and ensure that you have a chance to win some great prize.
Juvenile Camogie and Girls Football

Juvenile G.A.A. Club
The Finals of the Brendan Teehan Tournament will take place in the G.A.A. Grounds on Saturday 7th July. Please support.
Gortnahoe Bingo
Congratulations to our local parish winner of last week’s Jackpot of €200 plus €200 full house. Prize money €1,500 plus jackpot continues this week. All are welcome.
Outdoor Dancing
Rolling Back the Years in aid of Alzheimer’s Association in the form of outdoor dancing on a platform will be held at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Johnstown on Sunday 1st July from 2.00. Come along.
What a Week in the parish
Thanks to so much support, how enjoyable it was to taste pig at Mary Willies on Saturday night, be proud of Tipperary on Sunday, to gather for the raising of the Green flag in Ballysloe on Monday, to join in the Sponsored Walk for Glengoole Hall on Thursday and have you noticed the walls and mural of Glengoole School looking so freshly painted, all done by the parents and volunteers. We gather as a parish on Saturday night in Gortnahoe Church to be proudly part of the installation ceremony of Fr. Irwin as Parish Priest by Archbishop Clifford. What a wonderful week.
